Aims & Objective
- To unite all women, whether through marriage, birth, or residency, to pursue
a common cause. - To ensure that every individual has the opportunity to voice their opinions.
- To provide encouragement to women who have lost hope due to their
circumstances, empowering them to achieve their aspirations.
Our Profile
We are a non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization. Our focus extends
beyond Edo women to include women from other nationalities married to Edo
men and residing in Edo State. Membership is open to female youths from the
age of 18.
Our group endeavors to support women in all aspects of their lives, including
politics, religion, business, and marriage. We prioritize the needs of depressed
widows and single mothers, recognizing their overlooked struggles and
potential.
We have established a reconciliation committee to address marital issues and
provide lasting solutions to troubled families. Under the visionary leadership of
our president, we offer various benefits such as skill acquisition programs,
empowerment initiatives, talk shows, medical outreach programs, health
education, and pioneer classes.
We aim to challenge gender inequality by supporting women’s education,
understanding that educated women are more likely to advocate for their rights
Our Organization
Our organization is not reliant solely on government assistance; we rely on
collective contributions to support one another. Our goal is to enlist at least
1000 women and 1000 female youths as members. We also promote
agricultural initiatives and seek grants or loans for women entrepreneurs.
We have appointed patrons, matrons, Edo South, Edo Central, and Edo North
coordinators, as well as local government coordinators to ensure inclusive
representation. Membership requires registration and possession of a
membership card, with monthly dues contributing to our financial
independence.
